Rincon Sailing Instructors are American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certified, US SAILING Certified Instructors, and hold multiple United States Coast Guard Licenses.

Course Expectations: With small class size and individual attention, the curriculum emphasizes water safety, wind awareness, boat handling, and seamanship. No matter what level, safety, fun, and learning independence is the forefront of the curriculum.

The following is provided: All equipment, PFD (lifejacket), Summer Aquatic Academy water bottle & T-shirt, fruit, granola bars, water, Gatorade, 20 hours of instruction in selected camp.

Recommendations: Water shoes or flip flops, board shorts, rash guard or long-sleeved white cotton shirt, sunscreen, snacks, water bottle, wide brimmed hat, sunglasses, towel. Most of all come and have fun!

Location: Black Eagle Marina, Rincon.

Weather Concerns: Please have weather appropriate clothing. In the event of extreme weather, you’ll be notified of cancellation or postponement from Rincon Sailing staff.

Weather Policy: All activities are weather dependent. Should a day need to be rescheduled due to extreme weather, we’ll add on additional hours to upcoming classes to accommodate missed hours.
